County Commissioner Amanda Holt to Speak on Experiences  Fighting Gerrymandered Legislative Districts
Lehigh County Commissioner Amanda Holt will be the guest speaker at the Concerned East Penn Taxpayers Association’s (CEPTA) monthly meeting in April.
She will speak on her experiences in challenging the gerrymandered legislative redistricting proposed by the state legislature after the last Federal census.
Holt’s challenge to the legislature’s redistricting scheme went to the State Supreme Court where the court sided with Holt and threw out the legislature’s proposed redistricting plan.
