Wants to Oust Senator Brown

Pa Senator Brown

Dear Editor,

Senator Brown and his “colleagues” have found a new way to waste PA tax dollars.  Using what he calls “Creative Budget Manipulations”, he created a Rock Star Tax credit.  Any entertainer or group performing at the PP&L centre can, in addition to charging exorbitant admission, apply for a tax credit of up to $800,000 to defray their expenses coming to the centre to perform.  You can be assured these expenses will be inflated to grab as much tax revenue as possible.  the tax is capped @ 4 million but Senator Brown wants to increase that amount at future budget meetings.

Why didn’t Senator Brown use his so called “Creative Budget Manipulations” on HB76 “The elimination of Property Taxes for senior home owners.  That Bill failed passage by one vote, One Lousy Vote!  I would like to see the voting record on that bill to find out who voted against it.

So as Senator Brown lies awake at night thinking of new ways to funnel PA tax dollars into a worthless money pit, Senior home owners lie awake also, thinking of ways to cut their already meager life styles to enable them to pay their Property Taxes.

We need to get rid of Senator Brown

Louis Lutterschmidt, Allentown, PA

LVC Editors Note;  State Senator Pat Browne voted in favor of HB/SB76 and was a co-sponsor.  To see the voting record of that vote–go to and see the video on this subject (on the front page).
