Letter Writer answers Republican Solicitation Letter

You’re trying to tell me that Jake Corman and Dave Reed will stand up against tax increases?

After watching Corman say increasing taxes is “good leadership” (or something very close to that) and knowing full well that our Republican “leadership” negotiates behind closed doors and leaves their own members in the dark, I cannot agree with your blank statement that “republicans” will stand and fight.

And yes, they can do it alone as they are in the majority.  They don’t need my donation to do so.  When they can deliver REAL pension reform, school property tax elimination, paycheck protection and REAL school choice, then I’ll donate.

I would also be remiss if I didn’t also mention the ballooning budgets of the past that took place under Republican “leadership” in the House and Senate.

Nobody in the private sector gets paid before the job is done, so please don’t tell me these guys need my money before they do theirs.

Ronald —

Last week, Tom Wolf unveiled his budget plan and like always, it was designed to do one thing –  TAX HARDWORKING PENNSYLVANIANS!

The Wolf’s budget plan INCREASES SPENDING TO $33 BILLION! That is an increase of $1 BILLION in new government spending. Our Republican Legislators will stand up for fiscal responsibility and work to reign in this reckless spending – but they can’t do it alone.

Help us STAY in this fight by donating $33 TODAY – a dollar for every billion Tom Wolf wants to spend!

Together, we can protect our Commonwealth from Tom Wolf’s RECKLESS spending!

Thank you!
