Women for Democracy makes appeal!

Dear Members and Friends,

The United States of America is under attack as never before from within and without. Liberals, paid protesters, and those who have no fear of God are working to destroy the Constitution and erase the influence of God’s WORD on which this nation was founded.

Men and Women for a Representative Democracy in America was  born when God laid it on the heart of a woman to help educate anyone interested in true liberty. The organization provides you with educational resources and encourages you to take action and make your voice heard. As a grassroots organization, no money is received from the government, large corporations, or people of wealth with their own agendas.

Originating in Maryland, our Organization is in a position to lobby to educate legislators concerning the beliefs and values of Christians.  Members who lobby on your behalf pay their own expenses for the trip. The only expense the organization incurs is the creation of educational packets. In order to be the best ambassadors for you and our Lord, packets must be professional in appearance and contain information relevant to the issue. On average 30 to 40 packets are given out on each lobbying trip. The cost per packet is about $5 for a cost of $150 – $200 per trip. If the packet cannot be delivered, it is mailed to the lawmaker. As you can see it becomes quite costly.

In addition to the lobbying efforts, there are day-to-day costs. Daily operations require Internet access, phone and fax, computer, ink and toner, letterhead, paper, envelopes, and stamps. To assure that everything is done in accordance with the laws of the land, a lawyer and accountant must be retained.

If the America we love is to survive, organizations like Men and Women for Democracy in America must continue to educate and advocate for Biblical principles to be upheld. The devil knows his time is short and is attacking on every side. At a time when our efforts should be expanding, it may be necessary to cut back due to lack of funds.

Since it is a grassroots organization, Men and Women for Democracy in America rely on its membership for financial support. As an educational, non-profit organization, all gifts are tax deductible. Please prayerfully consider what God would have you do to assure that your voice continues to be heard in defense of truth. Perhaps you could: make a monthly or yearly donation, encourage others to join the organization, encourage Christian business people to support the organization, or contact us with fund raising ideas. Remember any amount will assure that an information packet gets into a lawmaker’s hands.

Please help in any amount if you can. We covet your prayers.   Pray that God will provide the money to continue the work HE started, to enable our efforts to expand, and to preserve our nation. To those that have donated faithfully, we thank you.

Thank you for all you have done and for what you will do to defend our Constitution!

Sincerely,

Shelby Wisner

President
