Pastors, Here’s How You Can Help Raise Awareness About Christian Persecution Worldwide!

Christian persecution is finally getting some of the attention it deserves in the media, but it is not enough! That’s why the Save the Persecuted Christians Coalition has the mission to protect Christians worldwide who are suffering discrimination, torture, rape, slavery, banishment and murder—simply because they believe in Jesus.

The goal of the STPC Coalition is greatly to reduce—and to deter—the further, global persecution of Christians.

Pastors nationwide can join the initiative to help build awareness and encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ.

This summer, please consider the following actions:

  • Preach about Christian persecution from the pulpit.
  • Share facts on Christian persecution with your congregation. For example, according to Open Doors, 255 Christians are killed worldwide, 104 Christians are abducted, 180 Christian women are raped, sexually assaulted or forced into marriage. 160 Christians are detained or imprisoned without trial, and 66 churches are attacked. Every month.
  • Place a Save the Persecuted Christians banner in front of your church. To order a free banner kit and church poster, visit Hundreds of churches have already ordered the banners, depicted below.

Red Alert!

1 Timothy 3:5 warns us of people who “have a form of godliness but deny the power of God.” In these last days, we must be ever-mindful not to be deceived.

Please listen to this week’s timely “Stand in the Gap Minute” program as Sam reminds us of Jude’s warnings against such people and exhorts us to stand firmly for the Truth of God’s word that, alone, sets people free!

For a 60-second investment of your time, and a 5-second Facebook post or Tweet, you will help your friends consider this vital question: Do you daily abide in God’s Word, whereby you are equipped to avoid deception?
