Mackenzie to Host 2018 Senior Expo Oct. 25

HARRISBURG – Rep. Ryan Mackenzie (R-Lehigh/Berks) is inviting area senior citizens and their loved ones to his annual Senior Expo on Thursday, Oct. 25, at the Lower Macungie Township Community Center, 3450 Brookside Road, Macungie. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

“Due to ongoing renovations at the Lower Macungie Community Center, the size of this year’s expo will be slightly smaller; however, there will still be lots of information and fun for everyone,” said Mackenzie. “I encourage all area seniors and their family members to stop by and see what we have to offer.”

Dozens of exhibitors from local, state, and federal agencies along with a variety of senior-focused organizations will be on hand to offer information about programs and services designed to meet the needs of older Pennsylvanians. In addition, there will also be a number of free health screenings, a light lunch will be served, and door prizes will be awarded. The door prize drawing will be held at 12:30 p.m.

For more information, contact Mackenzie’s district office at (610) 965-9933.
