East Penn School District–Parents Be Aware of What is going on!

Share

Dear LVC Editor,

As Taxpayers in the Lehigh Valley, we should know how our Tax dollars are spent in our schools
We have documentation of the Activism going on in the East Penn Schools that our taxes are being spent on. I don’t know about you, but all the dollars I pay to that district are meant for Academic Excellence not Activism.
Teachers who are advisors to these Activist Clubs are not paid to be promoting Activism but to teach and prepare our children to succeed in their futures by imparting knowledge and accomplishments in the subjects they are paid to teach and to develop academic excellence on the part of our students.
Did you know that Emmaus High School is OFF LIMITS to parents of those high school students?
They are Forbidden to come in unless it is for a teach/ parent conference. Why?
Don’t tell me security is the reason.
Today April 10 is Day of Action Day with a panel of School Board members speaking to the students. Some of which are parents of children in the school.  And most likely are those running for re- election this year for the East Penn School Board.
If this continues, and the public does nothing, our children are lost and the next generation will have been indoctrinated in policies that many parents would not agree with.
Please take this to heart and pray as to what you should do to stand up for accountability of the  tax spending in our school district.
Parents, please check you child’s text books especially if the books are from Pierson Publishers. They provide 80% of our schools textbooks nation wide. They are based in London England and their  largest share holders are from Libya, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey. Guess what is promoted in those text books?
Please, check them out. No matter where your children or grandchildren attend school.

Barbara Tantaros
