Lehigh Valley Tea Party Primary Election Endorsements and Report

Share

Primary Election May 21st
And Our Petition to Oppose Pittsburgh Gun Ordinances

At our May general meeting we held a candidate forum which was attended by well over 200 people. At the meeting, we endorsed Rebecca Warren for Superior Court (see note below).  We are also supporting the following candidates.

For Lehigh County Commissioner
Marty Nothstein
Brad Osborne
Antonio Pineda

For Lehigh County Controller
Glenn Eckhart

For Lehigh County District Attorney
James B. Martin

For Northampton County Council
John Cusick
Tom Giovanni
Andrew Oliveira

For Northampton County Controller
Hayden Phillips

For Northampton County District Attorney
Tom Carroll

Note regarding Rebecca Warren for Superior Court:
Rebecca is in the #1 ballot position and is running against two ‘establishment’ candidates. There are two seats available. You can vote for two, but do not have to. At our meeting, one of our members stated that she is voting for Rebecca only, thereby denying the establishment candidate a vote.

Please sign our 2nd Amendment Committee’s petition (here…) to support strengthening preemption bills SB531 and HB1066.

Other organizations have similar petitions, but we actually visit key lawmakers with data from their constituents, and the overall summary.

When you sign, we send an email to your state House Rep, Senator, the House Majority Leader and the Senate Majority Leader. As stated above, we then go visit key lawmakers.

Please also ask your pro-Second Amendment friends and family to sign.
