The Concerned East Penn Taxpayers Association, CEPTA, is pleased to bring you a Financial Planner and Tax Specialist at our Tuesday, February 20th meeting. Richard Shuker, will be the guest speaker. Mr. Shuker, fondly known as the “numbers man”, will examine the new Federal Tax Act and how it will impact all classes of taxpayers.

 

As we said, Richard Shuker is a Financial Planner and Tax Specialist who is also known to be a prolific reader. He is sure to know the answer to your questions and concerns about the new tax plan passed by Congress and signed by President Trump.

The Pennsylvania Liberty Alliance has been in the forefront in the fight to get the School Real Estate Tax Elimination Act Passed (SB/HB 76). Two years ago this important Tax Legislation received a Senate vote for the very first time. It failed on a 24 to 24 vote, Lt. Governor Stack cast the deciding “no vote”. Supporters have vowed that a second vote will take place.
