131st Legislative District Republican Primary candidates to debate

The Concerned East Penn Taxpayers Association, CEPTA, will be holding a debate between the Republican candidates running for the Republican nomination for the 131st Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives seat.

The 3 candidates participating are incumbent Justin Simmons, Colonel Bev Plosa-Bowser, USAF, retired, and Pennsburg mayor Vicki Lightcap.

Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions of the candidates.

WHERE? Emaus Fire Co. No. 1; 6th and Broad Streets, Emmaus, PA

WHEN? Tuesday, March 20, 7:30 PM

Refreshments will be served after the presentation.

The Concerned East Penn Taxpayers Association, CEPTA, is pleased to bring you a Financial Planner and Tax Specialist at our Tuesday, February 20th meeting. Richard Shuker, will be the guest speaker. The Pennsylvania Liberty Alliance has been in the forefront in the fight to get the School Real Estate Tax Elimination Act Passed (SB/HB 76). Two years ago this important Tax Legislation received a Senate vote for the very first time. It failed on a 24 to 24 vote, Lt. Governor Stack cast the deciding “no vote”. Supporters have vowed that a second vote will take place.
