Lower Macungie Township Commissioner Ron Beitler’s explanation of his Budget vote.

http://www.mcall.com/news/local/eastpenn/mc-lower-macungie-sewer-rates-20161219-story.html

For those who might be interested in an explanation of my “no” vote. I found myself in the position of having to vote “No” on the yearly township budget again. Despite finding myself in this place now two years in a row, it is not a position I like, seek or expect to find myself in year after year.

However, as it is the biggest decision we make over the course of a year – and understanding one shouldn’t expect to ever be 100% satisfied when on a township governing body with the reality of “5 cooks in a kitchen” – I found myself in the familiar position of having serious issues with major components.

Below, is some

21 folks from the PTCC and 5 PCTA groups rocked Hershey, Saturday! Not only did we distribute 1,800 flyers and tri-folds to educate the good folks of the 15th Senate district, we collected almost 200 petition signatures!

Senator Rob Teplitz, we talked to hundreds more and your constituents are NOT happy with you…I’m sure you’ll be hearing from them soon!

Folks couldn’t believe that Rob’s NO vote on November 23rd was the reason the bill failed. They are NOT happy.

This effort is just the beginning. Join us Saturday July 30th as we finish canvassing the Herhsey/Hummelstown areas.

The more the merrier and we sure did have a great time!

Numerous “new” folks to canvassing came out and

Obama allows ISIS training camps in U.S. !!

The fraud in the White House not only allows ISIS training camps on U.S. soil but he ENCOURAGES it. This is why he brings Muslims, by the millions, into the U.S. as “refugees.”

Interesting sidelight; he turns his back on legitimate refugees who are under severe persecution because of their Christian faith, but throws the doors wide open for those who specifically follow Islam, a “religion” that causes chaos and slaughter worldwide.

The explanation of why those following Islam are waltzed right in, while slamming the door on Christians? Because, he feebly explains, “We cannot offer or deny entrance to the

Governor Wolf’s Budget Games

By LVC Staff

PA Capitol Building Gov. Tom Wolf

Governor Tom Wolf is considered by many to be America’s most liberal Governor. Last year he vetoed a balanced budget that the legislature presented him. That balanced budget had major increases in education spending and other areas that the Governor wanted. However, Governor Wolf wanted a record increase in spending and taxes. The Republican controlled legislature found this to be unacceptable. Later the legislature presented a compromise budget with no tax increases that Governor Wolf line-item vetoed. Wolf cut the six billion dollar education line-item in half threatening school districts all across the state with closure. In fact, the Governor’s office sent out a check

Property Taxes and the Recent Budget-What next??

Most of you know by now that Governor Wolf has reluctantly stated that he will not sign the recent bill to finalize the ’15-’16 budget into law, but he won’t veto it either, which means it will still become law. The Governor did not sound happy when he delivered this news, and for good reason. He is not getting his massive tax increases that he’s been trying to get by holding your children and school district hostage. His plan backfired, and it’s important to understand why.

Throughout the budget talks, those of us who have been advocating for school property tax
