Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) on Sunday was pressed to explain why a single-payer health care system was rejected in Vermont and California, two staunchly Democratic states.

CNN host Jake Tapper said that California and Vermont are “cobalt blue states” and asked how single-payer could be affordable at the national level if they rejected the system at the state level because of the expense.

The Senate has now failed to pass legislation to repeal and replace Obamacare. The longer Congress delays or avoids action, the more the problems are likely to grow and compound.

The most common and publicized problems with the law have been the skyrocketing premiums and withdrawal of insurers from Obamacare exchanges—consequences that have flown in the face of Obamacare’s backers who said the reform would

Why Obamacare Must Be Repealed: It’s Not Just Political

“Perfect is the enemy of the good.

”By Richard Larsen/Western Journalism

The attempts to repeal Obamacare, or the Affordable Care Act, may seem primarily political, but they’re not. President Obama’s signature legislative accomplishment is an unmitigated and dismal failure on many levels, which makes its repeal essential to begin reversing the debilitating trends created by the Act and fundamentally removing government from the health care control equation.

The most evident failure is escalating health insurance premium costs. President Obama incessantly claimed, “The average family will see their costs reduced by $2,500.” Unsurprisingly, actual costs have escalated dramatically, with skyrocketing premiums far eclipsing the promised savings amount.

The Kaiser Family Foundation states that the individual health insurance market has

Written by Joe Scudder/Eagle Rising

The perpetual Obamacare collapse is causing another round of pain in Illinois.

The ongoing Obamacare collapse means another round of price increases. The cost of health insurance might go up 43 percent for many people. It is so bad, that the Chicago editorial board complained about it and even pointed out that Barack Obama made false promises about it. Nevertheless, they sold Obamacare when conservatives were warning them it would be a disaster.

(CNSNews.com) – President Trump was awake early on this “employment report” Friday, tweeting about jobs, regulation-busting, and consumer confidence, among other things.

A few hours later, the Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics said the economy added 209,000 jobs in July; the number of employed people jumped by 345,000 to 153,513,000 in July, setting a third straight monthly record; the number of Americans counted as not in the labor force, meaning they don’t have a job and are not looking for one, dropped for a third straight month to 94,657,000;

July Jobs Report Shows 1 Million Jobs Added Under President Trump

Share

By Rusty | Featured Contributor | The Political Insider

The July jobs report shows a better than expected gain of 209,000 jobs, while President Trump hit a personal economic achievement – over 1 million jobs added since he took office.

This comes on the heels of a June report that showed a gain of 231,000 jobs, and a report in May that had a chief Moody’s economist declaring that “job growth is rip-roaring.”

In addition to the solid job numbers, July saw the unemployment rate dip to 4.3%, leading top economists to declare the U.S. economy has either reached or come quite close to “full employment.”

Polls are fickle, facts are not.

The art of polling revealed its gutted, rusty machinery in 2016 when the most prestigious pollster companies in the world predicted embarrassingly wrong landslides for Hillary Clinton across the board. The machinery of polling was so broken that it led to predictions such as these:
