“Every child whose parent serves in our great military should be enormously proud because your mom or dad is a true American hero,” Melania Trump said. “In the wake of two devastating hurricanes, the world has witnessed your courage and compassion. And you have made every American proud.”

Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced on Tuesday that protections for undocumented immigrations under the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, known as DACA, would be rescinded.

“As attorney general, it is my duty to ensure that the laws of the United States are enforced and that the constitutional order is upheld,” Sessions said. “No greater good for the overall health and well-being of our republic than preserving and strengthening the impartial rule of law.”

Venezuela’s Socialist Government Urges Citizens to Eat Rabbits to Avoid Starvation

The Venezuelan government on Wednesday urged its citizens to eat rabbits to avoid starvation in the midst of a severe food crisis.

President Nicolas Maduro unveiled “Plan Rabbit” at a meeting with his agriculture minister, Freddy Bernal, that was broadcaston Periscope, CNN Money reported. The plan is a government program to distribute rabbits to communities across Venezuela to breed and eat. Maduro noted that rabbits breed quickly and are a good source of protein, but not cholesterol.

Generally, Venezuelans do not eat rabbits and see them as pets.

Chicago: 5 dead, 31 wounded in weekend shootings

The violence continued in Chicago last weekend, as five people were killed and 31 more wounded in shootings around the city from Friday afternoon through Monday morning.

The shootings included a triple homicide and a man shot on a Chicago Transportation Authority Green Line train on the near west side of the Windy City, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

Now ex-President Barack Obama is falling in his mentor’s footsteps and launching the first ever Obama Foundation Summit.

The summit is happening in Chicago and will be a meeting of Obama’s buddies and “community organizers” to strategize on how they should direct the world going forward.

Democratic Seattle Mayor Ed Murray resigned Tuesday after more allegations of child sexual abuse surfaced in what is becoming a disturbing pattern of Democratic politicians involved in crimes and allegations of child sexual abuse — scandals largely ignored by the media.

Murray’s resignation, effective 5 p.m. on Wednesday, comes after a fifth allegation of child sexual abuse surfaced on Tuesday — this time from a family member.

However, Murray’s alleged behavior is not alone; several major Democrats are facing charges or received convictions regarding sexual crimes related to children over the past year.

The Secret Service has offered to “fast-track” disability retirement for able-bodied agents and other employees in return for dropping complaints or disputes, according to an agent who filed a whistleblower-retaliation complaint and several Department of Homeland Security sources.

The agency allegedly offered to defraud taxpayers by expediting a false disability-retirement application last summer as the service was grappling with budget woes trying to meet the 2016 presidential campaign’s unprecedented operational demands.
