Harry Reid and Barack Obama’s ‘truth’

Share

by Rick Manning at Net Right Daily and Americans for Limited Government

Is it okay to lie?

Is it justified if it leads to the conclusion you hope to achieve?

Senator Harry Reid provided a startling answer to a question about his own veracity when quizzed about his Senate floor charge against Republican 2012 presidential nominee Mitt Romney where he smeared, “Let him prove that he has paid taxes, because he hasn’t.”

Pressed in an interview on CNN to explain his attack, Reid simply smirked, “Romney didn’t win did he?”

In five words, Harry Reid summed up the entire political philosophy of the left — the end justifies the means.

It doesn’t matter if a claim is accurate or not, it only matters

MEMORANDUM

Posted: March 30, 2015 12:42 PM

From: Representative Russ Diamond

To: All House members

Subject:Property Tax Elimination

In the near future, I plan to introduce a joint resolution to place a Constitutional Amendment on the ballot so voters can decide whether to eliminate all property taxes in the Commonwealth by a date certain.Acquiring, possessing and defending property are declared as Inherent Rights of Mankind in Article I Section 1 of Pennsylvania’s Constitution. That declaration was made by contemporaries of the authors of the Declaration of Independence, which cemented the idea that governments are created among men to secure such rights.Currently, these rights are being abrogated by circumstances within the Commonwealth and its political subdivisions,

Under Siege

Share

By Ed Bender

Tea party members are aware that Americans’ constitutional rights are under siege as never before. But one of those rights is in peril and has turned into a civil liberty issue few Americans seem to be aware of.

The Fourth Amendment to our Constitution guarantees that “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issued, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

The Posse Comitatus Act, passed in 1877, states, “From and after the passage of this act, it shall not be

Gov. Wolf’s Blatant Misuse of Power

Share

By State Representative Daryl Metcalfe

The new governor is off to a tumultuous start as the chief executive of Pennsylvania. It seems that he and other top Democrat officials believe they can display the same disrespect for the people and our state Constitution as the president has through his actions. Since the governor was sworn into office and took the oath to uphold and defend the same constitution that I did, he has used the pen and phone aggressively to advance his liberal agenda.First, let me explain whom I am referring to as “other top Democrat officials.” The Democrat Attorney General Kane has demonstrated a pattern of abuse since taking office. The most recent grand jury report recommending multiple charges against her is still a

It’s for the Children (Yeah, Right)

Share

How often do you hear school teachers saying, we do it for the children? It seems so often one may start to believe them. That is until you see the union teachers’ actions that show so blatantly that whenever teachers bring out the old worn out “it’s for the children” statement you should beware and look for the actions before you believe them.

Here’s their Mission Statement

The Steel Valley School District is rich in cultural diversity and unique in its heritage. The mission of the Steel Valley School District is for the school, home and community to collaborate to enable students to achieve academic standards, to encourage independent thinking and to become responsible citizens.

Keep this mission statement in mind

Courts have falsely declared that “Trial by Jury” is no longer a fundamental right.

Share

by William Taylor Reil

In 1968, the majority on the U. S. Supreme Court declared in Duncan v. Louisiana, 391 U.S. 145 (1968) that unless an individual faces more than six months in jail or prison, the accused in not entitled to a trial by jury in a criminal case. After explaining at length how fundamental “trial by jury” was and is to the American system of justice, the Supreme Court stated that this right “granted” in the Sixth Amendment” of the “Bill of Rights” in the federal Constitution, and “applied” within the States through the [co-called] Fourteenth Amendment, only applies to “serous crimes”, not to “petty offences” (like “summary” criminal charges) by stating, in part, the following, starting at the bottom of

Sen. Durbin Used Race to Block “Especially Dangerous” Latino Judicial Nominee

Share

by Judicial Watch

Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin has a lot of nerve to accuse Republicans of racism for delaying President Obama’s nominee for Attorney General considering he’s the only sitting senator who actually opposed a candidate specifically because of race. In fact, the veteran lawmaker referred to the judicial nominee as “especially dangerous” for, among other things, being “Latino.”

Additionally, Durbin has voted against several Republican presidential nominees who also happened to be ethnic minorities—Janice Rogers Brown, an African-American on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, the first African-American female Secretary of State. Durbin, who has represented Illinois in Congress since 1997, most certainly was never accused of being a racist for making

Unpaid for doc fix could add $2.3 trillion to Medicare unfunded liabilities

Share

By Robert Romano at NetRightDaily.com

“Simply writing off the cost of repealing the sustainable growth rate is foolish.”

That was from the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, noting that any permanent repeal of Medicare’s sustainable growth rate — a 1997 reform intended to put the failing program on a sustainable footing before its trust fund was exhausted — could add as much as $2.3 trillion to the unfunded liabilities of Medicare Part B over the next 75 years.

That is, if it is not offset.

As it turns out, in the course of 17 so-called doc fixes — which temporarily repeal the sustainable growth rate — there have been partial offsetting spending reductions that prior Congresses had included
