City of Alexandria Stonewalling Investigation Into Illegally Registered Voters

Documents about foreigners on voter rolls have not been released

Joe Schoffstall is a staff writer for the Washington Free Beacon.

The city of Alexandria, Va., is stonewalling an investigation into voter rolls in the city that could have illegally registered voters.

The Public Interest Legal Foundation, an Indiana-based law firm that litigates to protect election integrity, filed a lawsuit in April against the city of Alexandria on behalf of the Virginia Voters Alliance, a group dedicated to improving election laws. The groups contended that voter rolls in Alexandria have for years contained more registrants than people of voting age in the city.

Massachusetts Attorney General uses Consumer Protection Law to Attack Glock, Remington

Gun manufacturers file lawsuit to stop Maura Healey’s demand for internal records

Maura Healey / AP

BY: at the Washington Free Beacon Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey is facing legal action because of her use of the state’s consumer protection law to demand internal records from several large firearms manufacturers.

Court documents show that Healey is seeking a number of different documents from the targeted companies. Though Healey’s office says the investigation is “narrowly tailored,” it is trying to obtain company documentation on manufacturing standards, marketing practices, and safety-related complaints from consumers across the country.

Manufacturers Glock and Remington have filed suit in Suffolk

Obama Advocates for UN Gun Treaty Ratification

LVC Editor’s Note: The Obama Administration has numerous Muslim Brotherhood Advisors. Obama refuses to deal with Jihad training camps known to be in the United States. Furthermore, Obama continues to allow Muslim refugees free access into America without effective vetting. Yet now Obama once again wants the American public disarmed, disarmed in the face of violent Jihadi actions. Why? Think about it!

The Arms Trade Treaty went into effect on Christmas Eve 2014, but the administration has never submitted the treaty to the Senate for ratification, where it would require 67 senators voting for it to pass. (Photo: Paul Martinka / Splash News/Newscom)

Mexican Drugs Enter U.S. at Record Rates, Western States “Heroin Transit Zone”

The Obama administration’s failure to protect the southern border has allowed Mexican cartels to smuggle record amounts of drugs into the United States, especially heroin, which is increasingly popular in the U.S. Once the drugs get smuggled north Mexican traffickers use street, prison and outlaw motorcycle gangs to distribute them throughout the country much like a legitimate business enterprise. This has been going on for years and there seems to be no end in sight, according to a disturbing new report published by the Congressional Research Service (CRS), the nonpartisan agency that provides Congress with policy and legal analysis. “Mexican transnational criminal organizations are the major suppliers and key producers of most illegal drugs smuggled into the United States,” the

State Letter Reveals Plan for U.S. legal Commitment to Unratified Nuclear Treaty

Senator opposed to back-door ratification of test ban accord

BY: at the Washington Free Beacon

The Obama administration will seek a formal political agreement at the United Nations that would legally bind the United States to a nuclear test ban treaty rejected by the Senate 17 years ago.

The plan was outlined in a letter from the State Department to Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Sen. Bob Corker (R., Tenn.), who is challenging the administration’s effort to lock in American adherence to the signed but unratified Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty, or CTBT.

The treaty bans nuclear testing and was signed by then-President

Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) regarding the criminal prosecution of Tea Party groups for alleged violation of IRS rules.

Big News! Gov. Wolf’s Home Care Executive Order Ruled Illega

Friday, September 23, 2016

Dear CF Friend,

The Fairness Center announced a huge victory!

David Smith and Donald Lambrecht were up against a powerful foe: Gov. Wolf and an executive order that granted a sweetheart deal to a union at their expense. The Commonwealth Court just struck down Wolf’s executive order unionizing home care workers.

Shortly after he took office, Wolf handed down an executive order that would have let two unions—SEIU and AFSCME—unionize thousands of home health care workers in Pennsylvania—and take millions of dollars in union dues each year from their paychecks.

We’ve shared the story before of Dave and his home care provider, Don. Homebound with muscular dystrophy, Dave has relied on Don for more than 25 years. Far beyond an

NTIA’s CYA on antitrust raises new concerns with Internet surrender

By Robert Romano at NetRight Daily and Americans for Limited Government

On Aug. 16, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) published a Q&A on its proposal to cede oversight of the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) functions — which connect easy to remember domain names with numerical IP addresses — to the Internet Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).

Normally, such a Q&A would not even be noteworthy to warrant much attention but towards the end was this curious addition: “Did the U.S. government conduct an analysis of the impact on competition of the IANA stewardship transition?”

Which, is a really good question. Spot on, in fact. To which, NTIA states, “In its decision to move forward with the
