US SUPREME COURT REJECTS APPEALS OF BRETT KAVANAUGH OPINION STRIKING DOWN AN OBAMA-ERA GLOBAL WARMING RULE

Share

Michael Bastasch | Energy Editor/Daily Caller

The U.S. Supreme Court rejected attempts to appeal a lower court decision issued in 2017 striking down Obama-era global warming policies. The lower court’s ruling was written by the newly confirmed Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

The justices privately made the decision to not rehear the case before Kavanaugh joined the high court Tuesday, Reuters reported. Kavanaugh was officially sworn in as an associate justice at the White House on Monday night.

Kavanaugh’s 2017 decision for the D.C. Circuit Court struck down Obama administration regulations on hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), a greenhouse gas, because such rules ran afoul of federal law.

Harvard Law Journal: Preborn Child Is A Constitutional Person

Ten states (nine of which had ratified the Fourteenth Amendment) considered abortion to be either manslaughter, assault with intent to murder, or murder. TIM BROWNFreedomOutpost

Considering that such people as Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah attended Harvard Law School and even became the president of the Harvard Law Review, a paper printed in the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy is a blow to heartless, anti-American baby murder supporters like the usurper-in-chief. The paper concludes that an unborn child is, in fact, a constitutional person, according to the Fourteenth Amendment.

It Was No More The Guns, Than The Bombs

By Kevin McCullough at townhall.com The opinions expressed by columnists are their own and do not represent the views of Townhall.com.

Two national horrors in back to back succession left many asking for answers—as is almost always the case.

Two mentally disturbed individuals—one a Trump “supporter” (though his life demonstrated values far different from his social media,) the other an avowed hater of the President.

Their support or hate of this President or the previous, or the next ten of course does not matter. The media will nevertheless blame all of it on a Republican President that most of theirs didn’t vote for and would do so no matter who occupied the office.

Governor signs bipartisan bill establishing guidelines for public safety facility closures

HARRISBURG – Governor Wolf has signed bipartisan legislation authored by Senator David G. Argall (R-Schuylkill/Berks) that would provide a standardized process as to how public safety facilities, including state prisons and state police barracks, are closed in the future.

Senator Argall along with Senators Lisa Baker (R-Luzerne/Pike/Susquehanna/Wayne/Wyoming), Michele Brooks (R- Crawford/Erie/Mercer/Warren), Wayne Fontana (D-Allegheny) and John Yudichak (D-Carbon/Luzerne) sponsored Senate Bill 748, which establishes the Public Safety Facilities Act.

The legislation was introduced in June of 2017 in response to the Wolf Administration’s announcement to close down at least one state prison out of a potential

Car Accidents Soar in States with Legal Marijuana Laws

Share

/Godfather Politics.

A review of states that have legalized recreational marijuana finds that car accidents have skyrocketed.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and Highway Loss Data Institute released a new study Thursday showing an unintended consequence to legalizing pot — but maybe one that should surprise no one.

“Drugged driving is quickly becoming an epidemic as Big Marijuana continues to spread its false promises that pot is safe,” Dr. Kevin Sabet, president of Smart Approaches to Marijuana, said. “These studies prove that is not the case. People are paying with their lives, and it’s evident the problem isn’t going away.”
