Trump’s Travel Pause Approved – What’s Next?

Share

~ American Liberty Report

The Supreme Court has upheld President Trump’s latest version of a temporary travel pause from six terrorism hotbed nations in a 7-2 decision. That will at least help slow the flood of inassimilable and belligerent Muslims into the United States for a few months while the Department of Homeland Security can establish some minimum baselines for vetting them before entry.

Will Rogers famously said if you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging. Unfortunately, the US government has not fully learned that lesson yet. At this point, with President Trump’s travel pause being enforced, we are at least digging slower.

Paycheck Protection Results, Roll Call, Reasons for Encouragement

Share

Wednesday, December 13, 2017

Last night, the leaders of Pennsylvania’s government unions blocked paycheck protection bill SB 166—which would end the unethical practice of using taxpayer resources to collect and distribute political campaign contributions. The House voted down the bill 90-102.

While this outcome is disappointing, here’s why you should be encouraged.

First, this was the first time the House ever voted on a paycheck protection bill. Legislation has not only passed the Senate (twice) but House leaders are championing the reform.

Second, government union leaders currently employ 82 lobbyists to fight for their unethical and immoral privileges. But despite these long odds, you’ve helped us put these union leaders on defense.

Third, we will continue fighting

Kim R. Holmes is acting senior vice president for research at The Heritage Foundation, and a former assistant secretary of state for President George W. Bush.

When most people think of intolerance, they imagine a racist taunting a black person. Or they think of the white supremacist who killed a demonstrator in Charlottesville, Virginia.

It seldom occurs to them that intolerance comes in all political shapes and sizes.

A protester storming a stage and refusing to let someone speak is intolerant. So,

Always believe the women–really?

Share

By Joan Swirsky at Renew America

It’s become de rigeur for public figures and media personalities to repeat the tired mantra: Always believe the women. This refers, of course, to any accusation of sexual harassment, no matter how far in the past it took place and even if it was interpreted at the time as innocent flirting.

Leftists seized on the harassment lawsuits that took place at the Fox News Network last year when Andrea Tantaros, Gretchen Carlson, and other broadcasters walked away with multimillion-dollar settlements after accusing the late chairman, Roger Ailes, and the host with through-the-roof ratings, Bill O’Reilly, of sexual harassment.

Seeing that their Russian-collusion fairy tale was going in the wrong direction – indeed pointing every day

Rep. Ruben Kihuen (D., Nev.) has again been accused of making unwanted sexual advances toward a woman.

Kihuen, who was accused before of harassing a campaign staffer, is now being accused of harassing a female lobbyist while he was in the Nevada State Senate, the Nevada Independentreports.

The anonymous woman said that on three separate occassions Kihuen had touched her thighs or buttocks. She also said she received hundreds of suggestive texts from Kihuen, which she showed to the Independent.

Growing Stench of Politics Rising From Team Mueller

Share

It is becoming clear that the special counsel is merely an arm of the Obama/Clinton deep state.

By Thomas Gallatin · at The Patriot Post/https://patriotpost.us/articles/52913

An all-too-familiar stench of politicization is now strongly wafting from Robert Mueller’s investigation, which is looking more and more like a swamp creature than a corruption fighter. Even as there continues to be a total lack of evidence supporting the Trump/Russia collusion conspiracy, on which the creation of Mueller’s special counsel hinged, there is a growing pile of evidence suggesting that the investigation itself is compromised; that it is rife with Obama-Clinton deep state corruption.

For starters, six of Mueller’s team of 15 lawyers were Hillary Clinton donors. While that’s not illegal, it does little to alleviate concerns

What the Founders Understood About Religious Freedom That We Must Recover

Friday, Dec. 15, marks the anniversary of the day our young nation ratified the Bill of Rights in 1791.

Given the national discussion in recent days over whether the government may compel speech from an ordinary baker, now is an especially good time to consider the very first words of our charter document: “Congress shall make no law
