Incoming Communists Ready Bill To CRIMINALIZE Private Gun Sales

Share

Under the Democrats’ plan, a background system like that in California would require a gun seller to seek government permission for any sale or transfer of a firearm. Such a system was put in place in California in the early 1990s and has failed to prevent some of our nation’s most heinous mass public attacks. Meaning this bill is not about “curbing gun violence,” it’s about controlling the tax cattle. MAC SLAVO — Freedom Outpost

In the land of the fee and home of the slave, incoming Democrats have already drafted a bill that will criminalize private gun sales. As a “free” American, you will no longer be able to sell your own

Gun-rights groups announced on Monday they would file suit against any new gun-control measures the city of Pittsburgh, Pa., passes that violate the state’s preemption law.

The Allegheny County Sportsmen’s League (ACSL) and Firearm Owners Against Crime (FOAC) said they would take immediate action against the gun-control proposals Mayor William Peduto (D) announced support for on Friday and which the city council is currently considering. The groups said Pennsylvania law

Pittsburgh mayor sets sights on gun bans, confiscations

Bill Peduto, mayor of Pittsburgh

NEWS Cheryl Chumley, Washington Times

The Democrat mayor of Pittsburgh, William Peduto, has reacted to a recent Tree of Life Synagogue killing spree that left 11 dead by proposing bans on certain firearms, bump stocks and magazines that he deems high capacity.

He also wants the power to issue “extreme risk protection orders” to give courts the right to confiscate firearms from those deemed by police or family members to pose a “significant danger,” according to the draft of his proposed legislation.

And all the legal gun owners in America should go: You first, Mr. Mayor.

You first give up your armed security detail, your office guards, your hired protection forces — and then

Judge: Cops, schools had no duty to protect Parkland students from shooting

Share

NEWS Sun Sentinel (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.)

A federal judge says Broward schools and the Sheriff’s Office had no legal duty to protect students during the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

U.S. District Judge Beth Bloom dismissed a suit filed by 15 students who claimed they were traumatized by the crisis in February. The suit named six defendants, including the Broward school district and the Broward Sheriff’s Office, as well as school deputy Scot Peterson and campus monitor Andrew Medina.

Bloom ruled that the two agencies had no constitutional duty to protect students who were not in custody.

Venezuela took citizens’ guns by force–now the people are regretful and helpless against oppression

‘The gun reform policy…was about social control’

By Aaron Colen of The Blaze

Six years ago, the Venezuelan National Assembly, led by former President Hugo Chavez, enacted a law to disarm all citizens. Thousands of guns were seized by force, and now many citizens look back and regret that they gave up their ability to fight an oppressive regime, according to Fox News.

The “Control of Arms, Munitions and Disarmament Law” took effect in 2013 with little opposition, banning the commercial sale of guns to all except government entities, and resulting in more than 12,500 guns being seized by authorities.

“Venezuelans didn’t care enough about it,” said Javier Vanegas, a teacher who was exiled from Venezuela to Ecuador, according to

Atheist Group Throws Fit, Convinces City To Move Lighted Cross. Then Residents Speak Out.

Share

By

Michael Stanley/Great American Politics

A lighted cross has been a regular staple of the Finley River Park holiday display in the city of Ozark, Missouri for the last two decades. But all that came to an end when an angry atheist decided that such a display greatly offended her delicate sensibilities and complained to the city, eventually forcing them to move it.

The residents of Ozark, however, do not share this woman’s point of view and are making their voices heard.

Well, yet another “concerned city resident” didn’t like that very much and got in touch with the Freedom From Religion Foundation — a national atheist activist group that fights and threatens lawsuits over such displays — and the FFRF sent Ozark
