Does Agenda 21 exist? What is it?

Dick Morris talks about how recent Agenda 21 zoning regulations are now being driven into smaller municipalities through the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) department of the Federal Government.

Who is Dick Morris? Mr. Morris was at one time former President Clinton’s campaign manager during his 1996 reelection bid. He was a very close confidant to the Clinton’s and has a very knowledgeable understanding of their inner circle and operations. He has since gone on to start his own political insider news publication.

Agenda 21 has been around since 1992 originated during a conference in Rio de Genaro

Tom DeWeese of the American Policy Center also talks about Agenda 21 and its concerns for property rights.

The Right to determine Social Norms

By Tony Wirebach

The Right to determine Social Norms … The recent Supreme Court decision forcing states to recognize Gay Marriage across state lines has created quite a buzz in the Twittersphere. It appears that if you are a “nice,” socially compassionate, “modern” thinker the right of a small but highly organized and vocal minority to do what they want trumps what has been traditionally denied to them, for better or for worse …

Now it seems that the freedom to do “what feels right for you” in the privacy of your own home is not good enough for this contingency in American politics; individual preference needs to be pushed aside for compulsory collective acceptance of what was previously seen as deviant, socially-UNacceptable

Lehigh County Public union wins, taxpayers lose big to unemployment payouts

The Lehigh county Controllers office did an audit on part time union employees, see slides 1-7. The County has never done an audit like this before. Maybe they should have, as it turns out close to 20% of the total $802,000/yr. of unemployment wages paid to union employees seemed to go to paying for their summer vacation. The idea to perform the audit was accidental. It was spurred on by overhearing some public union employees talking around the water cooler about how they get their hours used up during the beginning of the year so they can get have summers off while the taxpayers foot-the-bill.

Twenty percent of the $802,000 total unemployment payout could be as high as $160,000. That’s a lot

GOP Lawmakers Push Obama Administration to Get Tough on Sanctuary Cities After San Francisco Killing

“Sanctuary city policies coupled with the Obama administration’s lack of immigration enforcement have created a public safety crisis,” said one top House Republican to The Daily Signal.

by Ken McIntyre from the Daily Signal

Republican lawmakers in the House and Senate are pressing the Obama administration to get tough with San Francisco and other jurisdictions that don’t cooperate on immigration enforcement, after the fatal shooting of a woman on a popular stretch of the California city’s waterfront.

The man accused of the July 1 killing is an illegal immigrant and convicted felon from Mexico who had been deported five or more times.

In a scathing letter, nine Republican members of the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday told the nation’s top

PA Rep. Justin Simmons: Wolf’s Severance Tax Revenue Estimates Wildly Overstated

Wolf’s Severance Tax Revenue Estimates Wildly Overstated Gov. Tom Wolf has tried to justify his recent veto of the state budget bill by saying it was necessary to achieve his goal of imposing a severance tax on the extraction of natural gas in Pennsylvania to fund education.Back in March, the governor presented a plan to enact a severance tax – a tax the Pennsylvania Independent Fiscal Office characterized as the highest of any state in the country. To determine if the governor’s proposal would actually deliver the revenue the administration suggests his severance tax would generate, the House Appropriations Committee conducted an analysis to determine what revenue it would generate given current market conditions.

“It is shocking how much the administration has overstated the revenue

PA Legislators try to help improve your car and small engine vehicle performance

You may have heard that the EPA was proposing to raise the Ethanol content in gasoline from the 10% to 15% level up to 30%. This was driven by a big push from the ethanol industry, no surprise there.

Part of the problem is the water retention that is caused by ethanol’s ability to absorb water, thus causing carburetors to foul up on vehicles that may sit unused for longer periods of time like; motorcycles and lawnmowers.

There are additives that can be added to your gasoline to help prevent the ethanol moisture problems from happening when a can of gasoline, the lawnmower, motorcycle or car is left idle sitting around the garage for too long allowing water to be absorbed

“Fair Funding?” Yet another delay

What’s one more week after all its only for the children. The legislature has been working for a year to develop a “Fair Funding” formula that will better distribute school property tax revenues between the 499 school districts within our fine State. Currently there’s a cost spread for instructing each student ranging from $25,746 in the Bryn Athyn school district, of Montgomery County to $10,628 in Greater Nanticoke area School district, of Luzerne County.

Wow!!! A difference of $15,118 per child. Yeah, you could say there’s a funding disparity! How does our district compare? Well, for 2013-2014 it cost EPSD $14,299 to instruct a student.

There’s been another group running around the state trying to influence the legislators to see how
