A friend of mine sent me a copy of your 10th anniversary edition of your Newspaper. I can’t thank him enough for giving me the comfort of knowing that there are those who are dedicated to telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I live in Northern Kentucky and the Cincinnati Enquirer is our primary source of print media. They are not near as leftists as papers such as the New York Times and Los Angeles Times, but they certainly aren’t anywhere near conservative. They endorsed Hillary Clinton for President. That should tell you where they stand. When I saw how you have exposed George Soros and Antifa, I can’t tell you how excited I was.

ACA Mobile Enrollment Tour

I am pleased to announce that Pennsylvania’s Acting Insurance Commissioner Jessica Altman & the Pennsylvania Senate Democrats’ ACA Mobile Enrollment Tour will make a stop in Bethlehem next week!

Constituents can come to my Bethlehem office, located at One East Broad Street, Suite 120, Bethlehem, PA, on November 28 from 10a-2p to enroll in the individual insurance marketplace or Medicare. Enrollment experts will be there to answer any questions and guide users through the process.

This is just one of the stops that the Enrollment Tour will make throughout the state during the ACA open enrollment window for 2018. The Senate Democratic Caucus has undertaken this enrollment effort to ensure everyone

HARRISBURG – Rep. Ryan Mackenzie (R-Lehigh/Berks) will host his next assistance day for veterans on Friday, Dec. 8, in his district office in Lower Macungie. During these special hours, veterans can meet with an outreach specialist from the American Legion to have their questions answered about benefits and services they have earned.

 

“If you are a veteran, or the family member of a veteran, this is a great opportunity to talk with a representative face to face to learn more about the services and benefit that may be available to you,” said Mackenzie. “It is also a perfect time to have any questions you have answered.”

Since Act 3 of 2017 was passed in May of this year, planning the deployment of REAL ID has been a key operational focus for PennDOT. PennDOT has committed to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that REAL ID-compliant products will be available to customers by spring 2019. A Democratic congressional candidate was arrested in Albuquerque, N.M., Friday for stalking a local woman and sending her a picture of his genitals.

David Alcon, who is running for New Mexico’s open district two seat, was finally taken into custody two weeks after a warrant for his arrest was initially issued. Police discovered him in an apartment complex while performing a welfare check, according to KRQE News.

LIHEAP Program Now Open, Says Simmons

HARRISBURG – The state’s Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is now accepting applications for home heating assistance grants, Rep. Justin Simmons (R-Lehigh/Montgomery/Northampton) said today.

 

LIHEAP is a federally funded program that helps individuals and families pay their heating bills through home heating energy assistance grants. It also provides crisis grants to help in the event of an emergency or if a resident is in danger of losing their heat due to broken equipment, lack of fuel or termination of utility service.
