After receiving a high school diploma from Slatington High School, Slatington PA, and attending Catawba College in Salisbury NC, Diane Schaffer became involved in numerous ways to express her interest in children and education.

In addition to raising two sons, with

Citizens Alliance of Pennsylvania Guest Post: Pennsylvania Workers Must Know Their Rights

By Rep. Kate A. Klunk 169th Legislative District

So many of our teachers, and other public sector employees required to pay fair share fees to public sector unions, have been caught in the conundrum of doing work they love, while also being forced to financially support causes they don’t believe in.

For 28,000 Pennsylvania workers, that was the reality and it cost them a collective $9.7 million in just one year. That’s just shy of $350 per worker each year. These public sector employees opted not to join unions but were forced to pay “fair share fees.” These mandatory fees are unconstitutional and take away workers’ right to

Dear LVC Editor,

As Taxpayers in the Lehigh Valley, we should know how our Tax dollars are spent in our schools We have documentation of the Activism going on in the East Penn Schools that our taxes are being spent on. I don’t know about you, but all the dollars I pay to that district are meant for Academic Excellence not Activism. Teachers who are advisors to these Activist Clubs are not paid to be promoting Activism but to teach and prepare our children to succeed in their futures by imparting knowledge and accomplishments in the subjects they are paid to teach and to develop academic excellence on the part of our students. Did you know that Emmaus High School is OFF LIMITS

Medicare Scam Rakes Taxpayers for $1.2 Billion

With this kind of rampant fraud, what could go wrong with Medicare for All?

By Michael Swartz at the Patriot Post/https://patriotpost.us/articles/62333

If you place a vast enough pot of money before a large enough pool of people, you eventually find out just how far people will go to get their greedy hands on the loot. Such is the case in a multinational Medicare scam that made headlines this week for its sheer size — the 24 arrested reportedly took a cut out of $1.2 billion in purloined fraudulent Medicare payments for various orthotic braces patients didn’t truly need.

The scam was as complex as it was widespread, involving overseas telemarketers preying on elderly Medicare recipients who were directed to a telemedicine firm

Former media power player sounds alarm over vaccines

By Cliff Kincaid at Renew America

Conservatives are frequently accused of being beholden to big corporations. But on the matter of mandatory, and sometimes risky, vaccines, it’s the liberals and the left-wingers who come down on the side of the drug companies, known as Big Pharma. They want government to force parents to have their infants injected with potentially dangerous vaccines that may be linked to the developmental disorder known as autism.

Autism was once a rare disorder but is now so common that most people know someone with an affected child. Many parents with autistic children have concluded that government policy dictating that every child get 69 doses of 16 vaccines, some with controversial chemical ingredients, is a factor
