East Penn School Board’s Bully Ballard Strikes Again

Share

But strikes out on his censure vote against EPSD Board Member Ms. Lynn Donches

Monday night’s East Penn School Board meeting presented an unusual and serious censure motion against school board member Ms. Lynn Donches. The initiator of this motion was another sitting board member, Mr. Charles Ballard and the reason for this censure appeared to be Mr. Ballard wanted to prevent Ms. Donches from asking for budget information.

Ms. Donches has been voting nay to the bill list because of this lack of detailed budgetary information and that appears to have pushed Mr. Ballard to the point of his vindictive censure motion against her.

It was a fitting start to the meeting when the children from Willow Lane Elementary school sang a

EAST PENN’S ABUSIVE CHARLES BALLARD GETS SLAMMED BY THE PUBLIC!

Share

At Monday evenings East Penn School Board meeting, a meeting where School Board Director Charles Ballard placed a motion to censure fellow School Board Director Lynn Donches, the East Penn public finally had its say. With a packed house in support of Ms. Donches, citizen after citizen went to the podium to support Lynn Donches and inform the School Board and Ballard just what they thought of the abuse that Lynn Donches has endured.

Over the last three and a- half years, the East Penn School Board and Administration has put up artificial road blocks to the requests of Ms. Donches for details of the Budget line-items and expenses entailed. But Lynn Donches holds dear her responsibility to the taxpayers and students of East Penn

I don’t remember ever hearing Representative Dent stand in defense of Liberty. Do you?

Lehigh County Conservatives Score Some Big Wins in Primary Election

Share

Lehigh County conservatives scored some big wins in Tuesday’s primary election as many conservative favorites advanced to the general election.

Let’s begin by looking at the Lehigh County Commissioners race, moderate Republican Dean Browning was once again rejected by Republican voters at the polls. Many stated it was due to the 16% tax hike levied on county residents during his tenure as Chairman of the Lehigh County Commissioners. Additionally, some were turned off by what they viewed as a negative campaign run by Mr. Browning. They said Mr. Browning’s mailers appeared to distort the truth or in their opinion contained lies. Judging by the results of the election, it looks as if those tactics didn’t work for Mr. Browning to the

Can School Board’s do Anything About Common Core?

Share

The short answer is a robust YES! This question gets centered on the East Penn School Board race. In the May Primary, conservative candidates Carol Allen and Chris Donatelli made a statement in their campaign literature that they wanted to oppose Common core and return to local control. The Teacher’s Union backed slate and their political operatives immediately jumped on this and continue to this day. The union operatives claim that Allen and Donatelli are naïve in that school board’s must follow the mandates of the state and federal governments. While it is true that Pennsylvania has adopted Common Core and renamed it Pennsylvania Core Standards, there are many ways to blunt the negative impacts of this program and its effects on our

Who are the Tax-Hikers (Lehigh County)?

Share

by Joe Hilliard at Leadership for Liberty

Many school board elections are decided in the primary cycle since most candidates can “cross-file” which means they can enter the race as both a Democrat and a Republican candidate. The logic is that school board directors are supposed to be non-partisan.

However, party identification is not the real issue. The real issue is to identify who are the “Tax-Hikers” in your school district? Normally, many think Tax-Hikers are only Democrats while Republicans fight proposed tax increases. The sad reality is that Tax-Hikers exist in both political parties in our school districts.

The list shows all the school directors in Lehigh County and how they voted for the last two budgets. Blue means the Director has

State Representative Ryan Mackenzie endorses Carol Allen and Chris Donatelli for E.P. School Board

Share

To Whom It May Concern:

It is my pleasure to endorse Carol Allen and Chris Donatelli in the race for the East Penn School Board to be held on Primary Election Day – May 19, 2015.

Knowing both Carol and Chris, I can personally attest to the great knowledge and passion they would bring to the school board. They are also both very active involved in the community and have an understanding of the issues facing public education.

If elected, Carol and Chris would serve to strengthen education and protect taxpayers. We need people like them to stand up for families and our community on the East Penn School Board.

Please consider voting for Carol Allen and Chris Donatelli on Tuesday, May 19th!

Sincerely, Ryan
