Berks County Republican Chairman’s Report

Share

Recent News:

The RNC is out raising the DNC by nearly 2 to 1. The DNC National Chairman, chief marxist Tom Perez, is stating concern, not for matching the RNC fund raising, but for raising enough to execute their message and game plan.

What is the Democrat message and game plan: It is for increasing Government dependency and increasing our misery index. My thoughts on Republican Enthusiasm:

The GOP is in a solid position to defend its U.S. House and Senate seats — and to keep Nancy Pelosi away from the Speaker’s gavel. Here in Pa this is very apparent.

Who is more motivated? Republicans or Democrats? Trump approval rating is nearly 90% with Republican voters. What is Significant with this? He won PA

Letter to the editor at the Pittsburgh Tribune–sent to LVC

Editor, the Pittsburgh Tribune, Isn’t it ironic that many of those expressing compassion for immigrant children are the same people concerned that we might not be able to continue killing our children by abortion should the departure of Justice Anthony Kennedy change the balance on the supreme court? The hypocrisy is remarkable!! Ed Bender 260 Skyline Drive Reading PA 19606

Home Owner points out highly controversial School District Expense

NEXT TIME, YOUR PROPERTY

By Eric Adams

The Easton Area School District is threatening to use the highly controversial power of eminent domain to condemn a large section of my property in order to build a new million dollar stormwater system for which there is evidently no need. Although the new stormwater system is to be “dedicated” to Palmer Township, all taxpayers of the Easton school district (already the highest taxed school district in Northampton County) are going to pay for it.

The school district has recently announced plans to demolish Palmer Elementary School and build a new elementary school on the same spot. According to plans, the new school will have 9,000 square feet LESS impervious surface (roofing, asphalt,

Letter writer makes call to action

PROTECT OUR CONSTITUTION

Members & Friends,

Please see the letter that was mailed to the Attorney Generals listed at the bottom of letter. As well as Congressman Devin Nunes, and President Donald Trump.

We need, as a country of Patriots; to get more involved and help reveal the propaganda coming from the Mueller office and his Associates.

Make your phone calls to your Legislators in Washington, D.C. to end this investigation…….this is costing tax-payers millions of dollars. Or, revise your own letter

and mail to these Attorney Generals.

RADAR is unreliable–says letter writer

Share

RADAR is unreliable. Lawyers, take note*.

In this election year, the Legislature should VOTE NO on Speed Trap Bill SB 251, authorizing RADAR for municipal police, because RADAR speed measurement is unreliable.

The courts regard radar as foolproof. Nothing further from the truth. Fresh evidence that further erodes radar’s patina of infallibility comes from an American Academy of Forensic Sciences research presentation titled “Testing of Police RADAR”. The research was conducted by two professional engineers, one of whom previously worked for a RADR manufacturer.

Despite 30 years of technological innovations, RADAR still suffers from the same reliability and performance issues that have made it unacceptable as evidence in a court of law. RADAR cannot meet the requirements of the Daubert test*, the set

Boyertown School Director Comments on School Shootings

Share

Another School Shooting! So, What do we do now? Harden the schools! Sadly, we live in a different society. This is a virtual, desensitized society. A society that has lost it’s way with moral absolutes. A society that looks to situational ethics instead of moral absolutes. This 17 year old killer was interested in violent video games that involved killing people. He was on the varsity football team and was bullied constantly by not just students, but the coaches as well. Objectively, this is a security issue, not a gun issue. We need to have a reasonable response to school shootings. Everything should be on the table. The threat in a school shooting occurs the moment a gun begins shooting and ends

Letter writer sends message to the establishment

Editor

The day following elections the obvious and most frequently asked question is, who won? Perhaps the more telling question might be, who lost?

Case in point

The Berks County Republicans selected representatives to their state committee. One campaign mailer, as stated, purported to be the “Republican Team”, which included their county chairman. This would imply that the balance of the 18 candidates were something other. In addition to the costly mailer were similar campaign signs throughout the county, hopefully to assure team victory. Ironically, of the 18 candidates, the county chairman finished 13th. Conversely, the Berks County Patriots ran three candidates, spent no money and with limited distribution of a self-printed flyer stated their issues. These included ending school property
