Women for Democracy makes appeal!

Dear Members and Friends,

The United States of America is under attack as never before from within and without. Liberals, paid protesters, and those who have no fear of God are working to destroy the Constitution and erase the influence of God’s WORD on which this nation was founded.

Men and Women for a Representative Democracy in America was born when God laid it on the heart of a woman to help educate anyone interested in true liberty. The organization provides you with educational resources and encourages you to take action and make your voice heard. As a grassroots organization, no money is received from the government, large corporations, or people of wealth with their own agendas.

Letter from John Bingaman of Mid-Atlantic Reformation Society

Dear LVC Editor,

ANYTHING BUT THAT

by John Bingaman at Mid-Atlantic Reformation Society

It’s not hard to find editorials and essays seriously hand-wringing about the state of civility in Western society. Think about all the outrages being discussed:

Public education • Political intrigue and follies • Police abuses • Monetary & economic abasement • Military uncertainties • Global warming / cooling / “change” • Sexual misconduct

You probably have your own list – maybe longer, maybe shorter. But surely you have a list.

Now think about the diagnoses and prescriptions of the essays and news articles you read. When was the last time you read anything of significance regarding what you might do to make things better? Mostly, the essays

Dear LVC Editor,

The Mission of the Mid-Atlantic Reformation Society, 2018 and Beyond

2/21/18 by Jim Mogel

In God’s providence, the reformation sparked by Martin Luther in 1517 marches on! The work of the Mid-Atlantic Reformation Society (MARS) centers on the application of Scripture to all areas of life, to the glory of Jesus Christ and the advancement of His Kingdom. In practical terms, we apply this through the principles behind our motto: “Think and Reform”. In addition to teaching the scriptural truths applied to the issues of the day, we seek to foster effective action and Godly cooperation within the Body of Christ to the end that individuals, families, churches, and the culture at large, including the civil government, are

Boyertown School Director sends information

Dear Editor,

Please post my information for the public to view.

ESA (Education Saving Account). Can this work? Educational Freedom Discussion begins at: 2:56:40 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ag6moV-i3Iw at 2:57:50 we hear a Board Director advocate support for a resolution preventing poor families from getting help from the state, in order to get out of failing schools. She was admittedly proud that she spearheaded this effort. at 3:02;21 My comments: It is increasingly challenging for our constituents to know whether the information we have about certain key issues is really complete. This BILL is not in committee nor is it in the pipeline to be brought into committee. No details on implementation, or any specifics at all have been defined at

Letter Writer opposes Speed Trap Bill

Tell them to VOTE NO on Speed Trap Bill SB 251 and Speed Trap Bill SB 172

Press Release:

In a vain attempt to make RADAR/LIDAR/speed cameras acceptable to the public, special interests staged a dog and pony show at a House Transportation Committee meeting on April 4th.

Drivers know that enforcing underposted speed limits with speed cameras and RADAR/LIDAR is a scam cooked up to fleece safe drivers, hiding behind the plea for “safety.”

Harvesting tens of millions of dollars from drivers ins the motivation behind Speed Trap Bill SB 251 and Speed Trap Bill SB 172. By cherry picking statistics and the outright skewing of statistics, special interests manufacture a totally inaccurate picture of the roads being a slaughterhouse

To All Taxpaying Drivers:

http://www.lehighvalleylive.com/news/index.ssf/2018/03/pennsylvanias_vehicle_crashes.html

This article chronicles the improving safety on Pennsylvania’s roads. It puts the lie to the House Transportation Committee’s assertions that we need speed cameras and RADAR guns everywhere.

What all Pennsylvania state and local officials need to do is to abide by Title 75 and post speed limits at the 85th Percentile Speed, the safest speed, on every road and highway. Special interests and bureaucrats want the money that tickets generate, and tickets are easy to write when 90% of the posted limits in the state are between 8 and 16 MPH too low: that makes everybody a “speeder.”

This article needs to be read by every driver and forwarded to

Boyertown School Director Writes Us on School Security

Share

Another school shooting: On Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Great Mills High School in St. Mary’s County Maryland, we had another school shooting! Austin Wyatt Rollins began shooting at students when an armed resource officer inside Great Mills High School responded to the attack by engaging the attacker with his gun. The attack ended very quickly with the only fatality being the 17-year old attacker Austin Wyatt Rollins. It is unclear whether the attacker killed himself or was killed by the resource officer. Either way, this attack ended because the armed resource officer was there. In Boyertown, we need to be focused on a complete security approach. As with all other “gun free zones” there are always trained people equipped with firearms

Former United States Ambassador Ellen Sauerbrey writes us

Dear Lehigh Valley Commentator,

From Ellen Sauerbrey

Baltimore is just part of a national trend of large urban Democrat cities that use taxpayer funds to protect illegal aliens (future Democrats) from deportation. So the deadliest city in America, that looks to the state for a large chunk of its budget, places a priority on protecting illegals and sending students to DC for a political protest. As one of those state taxpayers that helps to fund Baltimore, I suggest they use my money to heat their schools and improve public safety!
