See how leading open-borders activist ‘protects the things he loves’

From WND

The wall outside the home of George Soros

One of the world’s most influential advocates for open borders lives behind a large wall.

Noting that opponents of President Trump have insisted building a wall on the southern border is immoral, the Daily Caller has embarked on an investigative series it calls “Walls Across America.”

After traveling to former President Obama’s home in Washington, D.C., it went to the mansion owned by billionaire activist George Soros in the Hamptons, east of New York City.

Soros, founder of the Open Society Foundations, donates billions of dollars to far-left causes, including advocates for global open borders.

WASHINGTON – One Democratic congressman told PJM he’s not joining other members of Congress in declining a paycheck during the government shutdown because it would be a “distraction” if lawmakers weren’t paid, as well.

So far, more than a dozen lawmakers have voluntarily declined their paychecks due to the ongoing shutdown. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.) has reintroduced the No Budget No Pay Act and announced that he would send his payment to the U.S. Treasury until the government reopens.

“I will not accept any pay during any government shutdown. I am not

Democrats are Pushing the Worst Gridlock in History

Conservative Zone

Congressional Democrats continue to backtrack on their past commitments to border security and point the finger at President Donald Trump for the government shutdown. But what the fake news media refuses to tell the American people is that the high-ranking Democrats have ushered in the worst gridlock in history.

With the U.S. House of Representatives now in the hands of Speaker Nancy Pelosi and a Democratic majority, the far left has already gone to work trolling out ridiculous bills that have no chance of ever becoming law. Some even call for changing the U.S. Constitution. House Democrats have already stopped negotiating across the aisle just days into the new Congress.

29 Facts About the Border and Mexican Cartels You Need to Know

Breitbart/Brandon Darby

Breitbart News Network As the debate about the construction of a wall and other border security issues, here are 29 facts that you need to know. The topics came up during the most recent episode of “Coffee with Scott Adams.” Brandon Darby, the Managing Editor for Breitbart’s Border and Cartel Chronicles, sat down with the famed creator of the Dilbert comics to discuss the intricacies of border security.

1) No one is proposing a wall between all of Mexico and the U.S.—the U.S. southern border is approximately 2,000 miles. The discussion is about 1,000 miles of physical barriers in regions that are heavily controlled by drug cartels.

CNN’s Jim Acosta Accidentally Proves That Walls Work

~ Liberty Planet

Last week, President Donald Trump traveled to the southern border in Texas. The same day, CNN White House Correspondent Jim Acosta did the same — taking it upon himself to investigate whether or not walls are as effective as the president states. And he posted to Twitter a video of himself assessing the border situation.

“Here are some of the steel slats that the president’s been talking about,” Acosta said, pointing to them smugly. “But as we’re walking along here, we’re not seeing any kind of imminent danger…There are no migrants trying to rush toward this fence.”

Even the Twitter video’s description read like a joke:

Angel Wife Ruth Martin: Democrats Want to ‘Sweep the Loss of American Lives Under the Rug’

Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images

Breitbart News Network Angel Wife Ruth Martin said Democrats are “trying to sweep the loss of American lives under the rug” by opposing President Donald Trump’s border wall proposals, offering her remarks in a Tuesday interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight with hosts Rebecca Mansour and Joel Pollak.

Mansour invited Martin’s commentary on Trump’s Oval Office address from earlier on Tuesday evening.

“I think President Trump’s Oval Office address was pretty straightforward and crystal clear,” remarked Martin. “Congress needs to act now and provide the funds to build the wall, and it will provide much needed border security and end the shut down once and for all.”
