Religious liberty trumps homosexuality every time

By Bryan Fischer at Renew America, Provo, Utah

Host of “Focal Point” on American Family Radio, 1-3pm CT, M-F

It is an indisputable fact of modern life that every advance of the homosexual agenda comes at the expense of religious liberty. Every time the gay agenda advances, religious liberty is forced into retreat. It is a zero sum game.

The homosexual lobby is like a Leviathan, devouring everything in its path and crushing any resistance to its dictatorial demands. The insatiable lust for total, repressive domination of our culture from the forces of homosexual totalitarianism is creating intense conflicts between the gay agenda and religious liberty.

Trump’s ten year old comments: Folks this is nuts!

By Frank Louis at Renew America, Provo, Utah

I am writing this on Saturday, October 8. Who knows what will be on Monday.

Wikileaks lawyer, John Jones (48), killed by train in London. Ruled “suicide.” Give me a break. Hasn’t even made the news. And we worry that Trump said some nasty words. Really folks?

I am so tired of two-faced BS and “gotcha” moments with emotional fallout being pushed down our throats. Votes potentially being cast in the wake. I surely do not support “bar-room” trash talk, but it is a reality of life. It surely should not weigh too heavily on our critical decision making process in this election. Hillary is not above this folks… not at all. If, throughout

Were Muslims partially responsible for American independence?

Hillary Clinton raised eyebrows with a questionable claim during Sunday’s fiery presidential debate by stating Islam was always part of American history – even since the Revolutionary War.

After recycling the Khizir Khan controversy, the Democrat nominee claimed “we’ve had Muslims in America since George Washington.”

Several conservatives found humor in this seemingly overlooked part of colonial American history. Read More

A government watchdog found that over the last decade, annual government spending on public relations and advertising activities averages $1.5 billion.

The Government Accountability Office publicly released a report Wednesday examining how much the federal government spent on public relations and advertising contracts, as well as on salaries for federal public relations employees, from 2006 to 2015.

Senate Budget Committee Chairman Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., asked the

Pa. Lawmakers Misfire On Preemption Legislation

From the Lehigh Valley 9/12 Project Tea Party-Second Amendment Committee

Both chambers of the Pennsylvania General Assembly took the coward’s way out recently, and chose to delay votes on two critical preemption bills that are pending in the legislature.

With legislators on recess until Monday, October 17, and only six days left in the 2016 legislative session, it is imperative that patriots contact their state legislators and urge them to support both Senate Bill 1330 and House Bill 2258. “It is important that one of these bills makes it to the Governor’s desk,” according to a posting by the NRA-ILA (Institute for Legal Action)

“Gun owners across the Keystone state have waited long enough for this much-needed reform as

Senate committee approves local lawmakers’ measure to improve safety for household goods movers

Senate committee approves local lawmakers’ measure to improve safety for household goods movers

HARRISBURG – The Senate Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure Committee unanimously approved a proposal sponsored by Representative Gary Day (R-Lehigh/Berks) to strengthen penalties on illegal household good movers.

The bill, House Bill 1769, is identical to a proposal authored by Senator David G. Argall (R-Schuylkill/Berks) that passed the Senate unanimously last October.

Under Argall and Day’s legislation, household goods movers operating illegally in Pennsylvania would be subject to a $5,000 fine and a third degree misdemeanor. Vehicles used in the illegal move would be confiscated and registration would be suspended. Repeat offenders would be subject to a $10,000 fine.

Weekly Update–From the Commonwealth Foundation

Monday, October 17, 2016

Dear CF Friend,

Today kicks off the last two weeks of legislative session this year. Here’s what you need to know about some key issues we’re watching.

Pension reform. The House and Senate may soon come to a pension agreement, combining the House’s stacked hybrid plan with the Senate’s side-by-side hybrid. Check out Elizabeth Stelle’s latest blog recapping the road to pension reform.

Vape shops saved? The House could vote this week to repeal and replace the 40% retroactive tax on vape shop owners, meaning the Senate could pass this bill and send it to Gov. Wolf as early as next week. This tax has already forced dozens of shops across Pennsylvania out of business.

Green light for
