Here Are the Gov’t Programs Raising Gas Prices Sky High in Some Places

Share

The price of a gallon of gas costs dramatically more in California than in the rest of the country for a variety of reasons, but government meddling, rising home costs and steep taxes are playing a significant role.

Republicans are threatening to turn a recently passed gas tax increase into a millstone to wrap around the necks of vulnerable Democrats. Years of tax increases, pricey fees and a lack of infrastructure in California could provide the pressure required to give those threats some legitimacy.

The Environmental Protection Agency recently announced the creation of an Office of Continuous Improvement to implement a lean management system. It’s part of Administrator Scott Pruitt’s effort to make the EPA—a government agency known for its expansive reach—work more efficiently on behalf of American taxpayers.

EPA Chief of Operations Henry Darwin spoke exclusively to The Daily Signal about the new office and the work that its director, Serena McIlwain, would be doing. A lightly edited transcript of the interview is below.

Club-K is not for dancing

Share

By Linda Goudsmit at Renew America

Club-K is not for dancing. Club-K is the Russian container complex of missile weapons hidden in standard 20 foot and 40 foot sea containers. These weaponized containers are virtually indistinguishable from sea containers containing ordinary non-military items.

Housed inside each Club-K container are four missiles which can carry biological, chemical, conventional, Electro-Magnetic Pulse (EMP), or nuclear warheads. The extreme danger of the Club-K system is its ability to evade detection among the millions of shipping containers carried on ships, trains, and trucks all over the world, including inside the United States. The mobile Club-K missile systems are exposed when the Universal Launch Module (erector) tilts up to the vertical position.

The end may now be in sight for Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his rabid band of left-wing prosecutors headed by the notorious hack prosecutor Andrew Weissmann. In this regard, five months ago on behalf of Freedom Watch, the public interest watchdog I founded after my run for the U.S. Senate in Florida in 2003-04, I filed a simple Freedom of Information Act Request (FOIA) with the Office of the Special Counsel, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and its Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). When individualism goes too far

Share

By Alan Keyes at Renew America

“Now, an army is a team. It lives, eats, sleeps, fights as a team. This individuality stuff is a bunch of crap. The bilious bastards who wrote that stuff about individuality for the Saturday Evening Post don’t know anything more about real battle than they do about fornicating.” (Gen. George S. Patton’s Address to the 3rd Army, as rendered by George C. Scott in the movie Patton, 1970. See the above video at the 2:40 mark.)

Individual (n.) – early 15 c., “one and indivisible, inseparable” (with reference to the Trinity), from Medieval Latin individualis, from Latin individuus “indivisible….”

If liberals were animals, it would be an improvement

Share

By Selwyn Duke at Renew America

If liberals were animals, if would be a marked improvement. For one thing, animals don’t lie.

Ever since President Trump characterized MS-13 gang members as “animals,” Democrats have been playing dumb (when they haven’t actually been dumb) for political gain. What started with some fake news outlets purposely misrepresenting Trump’s remarks and others sloppily parroting the deception, has degenerated into the comical: leftists trying to save face and gain votes by cynically claiming they’re offended that anyone would do violence to the principle of the dignity of all human persons. Why, Nancy Pelosi, a poo-bah of prenatal infanticide posing as a latter-day St. Thomas Aquinas, actually lectured us about how every person has a “divine spark.”

Corrupt FBI Exposed For Fabricating Trump Allegations

Share

~ American Liberty Report

President Trump has been saying it for a while and last week’s revelations leave no doubt – high ranking agents of the FBI fabricated the allegations that Special Counsel Mueller has built the majority of his investigation on.

The Bureau concocted the narrative that the mainstream media and Democrats have relentlessly used to undermine the President goes back to before the Presidential election in September 2016.

Now, the FBI’s narrative is coming apart at the seams rapidly. Last Wednesday, Representative Devin Nunes and the House Intel Committee Chairman won its battle with the Mueller investigation and the Department of Justice over a motherload of intelligence that Rob Rod, the Deputy Attorney had steadfastly refused to hand over.

By Joshua Caplan/

Breitbart News Network Public records show Stefan Halper, the foreign policy expert “outed,” as an FBI informant that spied on Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, was paid a large sum in 2016 for work he did for the Obama administration.

The Department of Defense paid Halper $282,295 on September 27, 2016 — just months before the 2016 presidential election — for work titled, “INDIA AND CHINA ECON STUDY,” says USASPENDING.gov, a website that tracks spending data for the U.S. government. This sum was one of two payments made to Halper for the job; the second, worth $129,280, was made on July 26, 2017. The record lists
