By Printus LeBlanc at NetRight Daily and Americans for Limited Government

After another moderate Republican House Member, U.S. Rep. Dave Trott (R-Michigan), decided not to run for reelection in 2018, a GOP consultant commented, “Trump is not a limited government conservative.” Looking at the evidence this could not be further from the truth. You may have a problem with the delivery method, but you cannot deny that President Donald Trump has instituted far more limited government reforms than the previous four Presidents. Don’t let perfect be the enemy of great.

By Onan Coca /Constitution

President Trump delivered a rousing speech to the gathered United Nations and parts of it were startlingly direct.

Particularly this section of his speech on socialism:

“The problem in Venezuela is not that socialism has been poorly implemented but that socialism has been faithfully implemented. (Applause)

“From the Soviet Union to Cuba to Venezuela, wherever true socialism or communism has been adopted, and has delivered anguish and devastation and failure.

Brennan Center’s Attacks on Heritage Voter Fraud Database Are Baseless

The Heritage Foundation has documented over 1,000 proven examples of election misconduct. (Photo: iStock Photos)

COMMENTARY BY

Jason Snead is a policy analyst in The Heritage Foundation’s Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies. Read his research.

On Sept. 8, the Brennan Center for Justice released a misleading reportpurporting to debunk The Heritage Foundation Voter Fraud Database.

Needless to say, the report is filled with inaccuracies and its claims are wildly off base.

Given the Brennan Center’s apparent goal of misleading the public into leaving our nation vulnerable to election fraud, a response is appropriate because

Justices Should Toss Dems’ Phony Election Lawsuit

Share

By Betsy McCaughey at Townhall

If you can’t win, change the rules. Democrats and progressive activists are joining forces to urge the U.S. Supreme Court to interfere in how election districts are drawn in all 50 states. In Gill v. Whitford, they’re challenging how Republican lawmakers in Wisconsin drew the state’s election map.

The justices will hear the case on Oct. 3. If they decide to strike down Wisconsin’s map and dictate new rules for election map making, it could turn winners into losers and vice versa across the country. Republicans, who have been on a winning streak and now control both legislative houses and the governor’s mansions in 26 states — including Wisconsin — rightly oppose this judicial interference.

CHILD ABUSE IN THE CLASSROOM: A LEGAL CHALLENGE TO ESSA

On September 20, 2017 there will be a national press release and 2 live Press Conferences (Texas, Indiana) to formally announce a national campaign to repeal the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA passed Dec. 2015) and restore the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Currently we have 21 state coordinators and our hope is before long to have all 50 states and DC on board. We are prepared to take legal action if necessary.

FERPA passed in 1974 is a federal law that governs access of educational information and records including personally identifiable information (PII). Protections under FERPA were gutted in 2011 by the Obama administration
